Hi
With the screenshot I try to visualize my problem.
I have a site ‘Kuwait’ with a map (by shortcode) and then text. The margin between the map and following text ist ok.
Then I have a technically similar site ‘Syrien’, the margin is to small!I found a workaround. I duplicate the containing text-block, so I have 2 similar. Then I drop the 2nd over the 1st, and delete the other one. Look!, margin is good :)
Please can you tell me where this comes from? What is my mistake? If you need more details, please just ask.
Thanks in advance!

May we have a link to your website? And if possible may we also have temporary admin access so we can take a closer look?
Best regards,
DakeNovember 30, 2015 at 2:36 pm #544499Hi,
in the meantime I corrected all the sites, doing it ‘my way’, by duplicating and then deleting the boxes. On some sites I did not set 1/1 as a container, so this needed to be done anyway. Is it generally recommended to use the 1/1 around the boxes? What would be the correct way to archive the result I want?
Could it possibly be some side-effect using the following plugin
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/ ?If needed, I will provide login-details.
Thanks for any effort.
November 30, 2015 at 3:36 pm #544534Hi!
I’m not seeing the issue on the page you linked to so I can’t say for sure if it is being caused by the layout editor or the plugin you posted.
What you can do however is disable all of your plugins to see if they are causing a styling conflict.
Cheers!
DakeNovember 30, 2015 at 6:33 pm #544708You don’t see it because I managed to correct it, as I said. So you say the issue is new to you, which would in fact increase the possibilty of an interfering plugin, and I could examine further?
Is there any recommendation using 1/1 around a text-box or not, and the depending margins and so?
If I come across this again I will let it be and you can have a look.
November 30, 2015 at 7:17 pm #544745Hey!
I understand what you’re saying now. It’s possible that it may have been a plugin issue, but since the issue has been fixed at this point there isn’t a real way that we could confirm this (unless we recreate the issue).
The 1/1 container serves a similar purpose as a color section, it’s simply used when you want a portion of your page to appear separate from other areas. Where margins are concerned, they should be set to 0px by default but can be adjusted as needed.
Hopefully it doesn’t reoccur, but if it does, feel free to create another thread.
Cheers!
