After update to 4.6 maps are showing the “Maps were disabled…” message – but the setting is still set to “Load immediately”
Also; the Cookie Consent Messages keeps popping up also after the user has said “OK”
Please advise

Also youtube and vimeo videos do not appear and the link directly goes to youtube website instead of opening in lightbox. I guess this has to do with the new Privacy & Cookie settings. The modal cookie window came up on every page … it seems, that the cookie settings were not stored correct.
I had to roll back to 4.5.7 … please find a solution soon. I’d like to update to 4.6 since from what I noticed, there are some very useful features implemented now that I’d love to see on my sites.
ThanksAugust 31, 2019 at 8:37 pm #1132557Same problem with the Maps in my Blog posts!
1. Cookie Consent Bar – Reappears on every page after accepting
2. Maps in Blog Post – Maps are disabled by user messageTEMP FIX: Turning off Cookie consent fixed both…
3. MailChimp forms – Consent checkbox missing
TEMP FIX: None
All seems to be related to the Privacy and Cookie options.
September 4, 2019 at 10:08 am #1133734Hi,
Thank you for using Enfold. And sorry for the delay.
@stuedal: We can’t reproduce the cookie consent issue our local installation. The consent doesn’t pop up back once we confirmed it. We can also see that the aviaCookieConsent cookie is properly set.
.aviaCookieConsent:”b338c36f6464f9148e773c4b10dee845″
Expires:”Sat, 02 Nov 2019 10:56:22 GMT”Are you testing it on incognito mode? Do you have a staging site with v4.6. The live site is still on 4.5.7.
For everyone else, please create your own ticket and post the necessary details in the private field. We’ll check the issue there. Thank you.
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 4, 2019 at 10:13 am #1133737The site has been set back to the old version as I could no longer wait for Your answer. My client was pretty mad.
The same goes for all my Enfold sites – all have had same problems, but I have downgraded them. I can not risk updating clients sites until You have solved the problem.
September 4, 2019 at 10:20 am #1133740This is clearly not site related – as so many of the Enfold users are posting about this – please fix this and release a new update.
September 4, 2019 at 10:42 am #1133751Hi,
Could You try to change the setting:
Enable cookie consent messages: = Use as a simple message bar only
That works for me – had the same problem
BR, Pete
September 4, 2019 at 10:45 am #1133753Client not interested in simple message bar, they want the full version. Also, map still not working. Will stick to old version until this has been sorted. Not interested in work-arounds – expecting a proper upgrade
September 5, 2019 at 11:19 am #1134320Hi,
We just got notified that you have to add the “[av_privacy_allow_cookies]” in the privacy modal popup or the privacy page so that users can choose whether to accept cookies or not. If this option is disabled or nowhere to be found, the consent message will popup on every page load. You can also set the “Enable cookie consent messages” to the 4th option as @2funky suggested.
The dev team is working on a solution that will enable the “av_privacy_allow_cookies” by default when it’s not added manually.
Best regards,
Ismael -
