    Hi there!

    What would be the reason mansory gallery would “change” the color of the pictures embedded to it? It seems like there is a faint color with transparency in front of the pictures. The problem is: I have selected that there should be no hovering etc coloring effects. What could be the problem?

    Hey Cloaker,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    It is the default theme style. To remove the overlay please use the code provided in this link.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the login details. Could you try to delete the old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance to see if that helps please?

    Hi,

    I added the CSS to the very top of Quick CSS and deleted the old CSS and JS files, I can’t see an overlay anymore. Please clear your browser cache and reload the page.

    Hi there! I cleared my cache and even used other browsers and no luck. The colors are different as you can see from the picture (below). I changed the picture to the top to match the picture below it so you can see the color difference. What could be the problem? :S

    Hi,

    That’s the actual color of the images. The image overlay is no longer there. (see private field)

    Do they look different from the original images?

    Yes, the colors are not the same. The color is shown correctly in the big picture and wrong in the smaller picture below it. The picture is the same but the color is still different. :S

    Hi,

    Did you install an image compression plugin? Please disable it temporarily, then upload the images again.

    The color of the original image or copy looks the same as the thumbnails above. (see private field)

    No I haven’t installed an image compression plugin. Please see the screenshot in the private field. The color difference is there even though the pictures are the same!

    Found out the problem. The pictures I used were altered by WordPress for some reason. I believe it’s the same problem as here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/really-huge-problem-with-colormanagement-of-enfold-graphics-engine/

    Fixed it by playing with the color management in photoshop.
