Making the sidebar sticky

Hi,

Is there an option or a hack to make the sidebar scroll with the content until you reach the end of the sidebar? I suppose it’s called a sticky sidebar. I’ve already searched the forums but the code I found did not work or the posts pointed me to using a plugin, which did not work either.

Please let me know.
