I am experiencing some technical issues with the theme when changing the sidebar, footer, title bar, and header visibility and transparency settings. For some odd reason, I am unable to save the layout settings when I choose the option “Default Layout – set Enfold in Child” style for each of the settings. I am also unable to revert to “No Transparency” under the Header Visibility and Transparency option once I change it. Once I change the settings and save it, I am unable to select the first option anymore for each of the Layout Settings.
I am not sure if it has something to do with the recent server upgrade. The server has been upgraded from PHP 5.5 to PHP 5.6 and MySQL 5.5 to MySQL 5.6. I am using the latest version of Enfold which 3.5.1.
Has anyone experienced this issue? And is there a fix around this.

March 31, 2016 at 9:23 pm #606243Hello,
Have you tried disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed?

JosueMarch 31, 2016 at 10:27 pm #606290Yes I did. I also installed a website with just the theme and still had the same issue. It’s a really strange bug or issue.
March 31, 2016 at 10:36 pm #606298There’s a security prompt when accessing the site (the username you posted is not working there).
Cheers!
JosueMarch 31, 2016 at 10:45 pm #606306My apologies. I have provided the credentials.
April 1, 2016 at 7:37 am #606523Hey!
There’s already a test page so we modified it. The settings are working. http://sxhproductions.com/test-page/
Is this happening on a particular page?
Cheers!
IsmaelApril 1, 2016 at 6:27 pm #606811Hello,
It is still not working for some reason. I am still unable to save No Transparent Header for some reason. It is happening with all the pages. The Layout settings just reverts to the last change. I cannot set the layout as default option.
April 3, 2016 at 7:20 am #607141Hi,
Could you try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?
Best regards,
RikardApril 4, 2016 at 6:41 pm #607784All plugins have been deactivated. However, I am still unable to revert the layout settings to Default, and still unable to save NO Transparency as a setting.
April 5, 2016 at 2:09 pm #608297Hey!
sounds to me like a caching issue. Have you used a service like cloudflare? if yes then you are probably seeing a cached version. Make sure to deactivate those features.

The problem here is that some configuration on your install / server is not allowing post meta values (or maybe any DB table field) to be empty (Enfold layout options are post meta based). To test this i added a custom field (“test field”) to all pages, i’ve also made a quick video on your install doing the tests with the default theme activated – http://screencast.com/t/gmXwC6VjPEh9. I’d suggest contacting your hosting provider about the issue.
Cheers!
JosueApril 5, 2016 at 11:15 pm #608561I see. I will contact my server provider and see if they can make adjustment to our DB, so that it can allow post meta values to be empty. If I still have any issues.
April 6, 2016 at 12:24 am #608573Looking forward to hearing from you :)
