make header with social icons transparent but leave logo part solid

Hello, just bought the theme was wondering if someone would know how to do this, i looked around for solution but am on deadline;

I want to make header (with social icons) transparent or maybe a little opaque but leave the rest (where my logo and menu is) solid
I tried removing color from alternate background in styling but it takes out color out of both ‘headers’ and I tried some short codes like in css area but no joy. ex of short codes I tried ; #header_meta { background: none; }

.header_bg, #avia-menu, .main_color{
background: transparent !important;
}
