Hi Enfold team,
On one page of my website I have six text blocks with a title and some information.
I want to make a button of those text blocks with a mouse-hoover to go another page. Is that possible with some code?
At the moment the only solution I have is to put a link behind the titles to the rights pages, but to make the whole text block a button would be better. Thanks in advance,
Sara

So you would like to make the entire element a link?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonDecember 20, 2017 at 1:09 pm #890756Hi Jordan,
No, I want to make a button from each text block. So that I have 6 buttons on that page that each go to another page.
So when you go over with your mouse, the whole text block (for example with the title ‘BROOS PREMATUREN’) shows a mouse-hoover and when you click on it, you go to another page. For the moment it only works when a I put the link behind the title, but I want it behind the whole text block.
I hope I’m clear enough :) not so easy to explain it in English.Sara
December 21, 2017 at 6:34 am #891023Hi Sara,
There is nothing like that by default unfortunately, but you can try to put code block element before and after the elements you want to link:
Code Block 1:
<a href="http://your.link">
Text Block
Code Block 2:
</a>

No problem. Maybe I can find a plugin for that kind of buttons.
The code links only the text and not the whole square where the text is in.
Thanks for your help anyway!Sara

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

VictoriaDecember 21, 2017 at 6:00 pm #891239Hi Victoria,
Sure!
This is the website: http://www.fiolavzw.be/babys-kinderen-jongeren but you have to login to another page (see private).December 21, 2017 at 6:42 pm #891264Hi Sara,
And how do I get to that page in the dashboard? Have you started building that page?
Best regards,
VictoriaDecember 22, 2017 at 10:32 am #891520Hi Victoria,
It’s the page ‘baby’s, kinderen en jongeren’ the second page in line, beneath Autismespectrumstoornis.
I putted ‘KRIESI’ behind it.December 27, 2017 at 8:05 pm #892207Hi Sara,
I am getting this (screenshot in private) when trying to preview the page.

VictoriaJanuary 3, 2018 at 11:56 am #892781Hm, strange? I’m sorry about all of this… don’t know why it’s going so bad to view the page.
You have to see this page (see private) but when you login via (see private) you can see the layout: pagina’s -> baby’s, kinderen en jongeren.
I set the account on ‘beheerder’ so normally you can see everything?January 4, 2018 at 4:42 pm #893277I noticed that the same message appears with me. You have to click on the button beneath it ‘bewerken’ and than go the page: http://fiolavzw.be/babys-kinderen-jongeren/
January 5, 2018 at 6:48 pm #893801Hi Sara,
I still get the same, I can see the code, but cannot see the preview if I change anything. Can you give that account admin rights temporarily?
Best regards,
VictoriaJanuary 8, 2018 at 10:09 am #894631I also can not see it in preview.… and we both have the same account admin: Administrator. That’s the highest, right?
January 8, 2018 at 7:11 pm #894855Hi Dotplusgeert,
Right. That’s weird. Actually, it’s the different links in the settings. They have to be the same.

VictoriaJanuary 9, 2018 at 10:12 am #895159Yeah I know, I don’t like that either that it’s not the same. But our domain name to login to wordpress is different than the actual website. It was a decision from someone else… You can close this post. I’m just going to put the link behind the text :)
