    Hello,
    I’ve major speed problems with wpml and enfold. I use every latest version WP (DE) 4.2.2, enfold 3.2 , wpml (sitepress-cms 3.1.9.7, string-translation 2.1.4), dedicated ip (2 domains), 256MB memory, php 5.3.28-1. When i activate wpml it last at least 4 minutes to login. Please help – thank you.

    Could you give these plugins a try to see if you experience any improvements?

    Hi Rikard,
    these plugins are installed but not activated at this time. w3totalcache, p3 performance profiler, wp-memory usage. I tried to on-off every single plugin. w3total cache makes the frontend fast, but of course not the backend. Also installed is the event calendar (both standard and pro). It doesnt seem that the event-calendar slows down the backend.
    As I said, after activating wpml it last 4 minutes to login to the backend, loses the css and is just not possible to work with. Right now there are about 500 posts but should grow up to 2000 and we really need wpml. Please take a look at it.

    Hi!

    could you please check if the same happens when you use a default WordPress theme and let us know about the result? You might need to delete all theme files via FTP and get a fresh copy from your themeforest account, as there might be some corrupted files on the installation.

    Hi Andy,
    some things i found out. enfold and wpml 3.2 does not work together. it was not possible to update wpml to 3.2 under enfold. not in the wp-backend and not via ftp. i tried to update wpml under a standard theme (23 or something) and it was possible to update wpml. I got fresh copies from everything and still did not work. to login to wp-admin lasts about 10 minutes! if wpml (3.1.9) under enfold is activated. i put up a staging site where you can try everything you need. plugins installed: p3-profiler, query-monitor.

    Please try editing your first post and including the information you would like to add to private section there. We are making improvements on our forum, there seems to be a small bug with private content fields :)

    Hmmh, not sure what you want exactly. login details are in the 1st post and what should i try again. If i enable enfold, wp does not work – blank page. The only way to enable enfold is to downgrade wpml to 3.1.9.

    Hey!

    Alright. I tried to login and it istaking quite too long to respond, 20 seconds or so. Please ask your hosting provider to upgrade php to version to 5.4 or higher and then increase the wp memory limit to at least 128M: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/

    When I activated the theme, the screen is all white and then I can’t access the dashboard. Please delete the enfold folder in the wp-content > themes directory then add it again. You can do this via FTP. I think it will help if you let your hosting provider know about this issue.

    Hi,
    Memory Limit is already 128M (another site with performance-problems has 256M), i will ask for a update to php 5.4 but this can not be the problem!. I already did delete and upload via ftp again and again. both, enfold and wpml. Right now i had to delete wpml 3.2 (via ftp) from the stage-site to login, cause you activated enfold. Do you have a working site with enfold 3.2 and wpml 3.2 and wp 4.2.2? Did you check the Query Monitor? it says something about “broken dependencies” with some avia.js.
    So whats next? Staging site is working with enfold, but had to delete wpml 3.2. Should i change to wpml 3.1.9 again so you can take a look at it.
    I am aksing, cause there are several sites with the same problem and some are really important. e.g. ramsau.com/blog – where now is no wpml installed cause of longlasting login. If we can not find a solution i have to skip all enfold themes, which i really, really dont want to.

    ok, update to php 5.4.42 – enfold 3.2 and wpml 3.2 are now working together. speed ist ok.
