    Hi

We using the built in maintenance mode to preview changes to a closed user group.
While maintenance on, atm I see that admins are able to preview the website, but subscribers are not. They will still see the maintenance screen.
What user role or capability do I need to set, so subscribers can preview too?

    Thank you for supporting.

    Hey brandreach_at,

We do not have a hook for this unfortunately, so it can be changed.
It would require to edit the code to allow more user roles to see the maintenance. Maybe in your case easier and quicker to use a plugin.

By the way, why not use a Staging?

    Best regards,

    Hi Basilis
It is some kind of staging environment. Although it is running on a subdomain and should not be found be google, it still is. So we have to limit access to logged in users only.
So far we used one of those coming soon / maintenance plugins before, where it was possible to surf the site for all logged in users. So thats all we need. We tried to consolidate our wordpress features we need, so thats why we switched to the built in feature.
Is this currently limited to admins only?
