On single post pages, the title’s link adds an extra “/blog” to the URL (e.g. “www.my-site.com/blog”). This doesn’t happen on the main page (e.g. “www.my-site.com/”).
I’m using the standard Enfold Title bar to show on my blog. Here is my setup:
- The blog is the main page.
- I created a page in WP and used the Blog Posts widget in the Advanced Layout tools
- Enfold is pointed at this page as the main page for blogs
I’m not sure why the individual posts add the /blog directory to the link. Any thoughts?

check your permalink settings in Settings->Permalinks.
Cheers!
AndyAugust 19, 2015 at 4:57 pm #490227Thanks, Andy. I’ve already checked them and there is nothing additional there. I’ve swapped back to default, saved, and still had the same issue. I went back to Post name and still have the same result there. Again, the title link is fine on the main page, but not on a single post page.

Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.
Thanks,
RikardAugust 20, 2015 at 8:15 pm #491069Attached is a temp login,
Here is the situation:
- This blog is a secondary blog in a multisite build.
- The main page is supposed to be the main blog page
- I can’t get the Enfold title bar to show on the main blog page without specifying a page in the Enfold controls
- I have created a page and used the “blog posts” widget in the advanced tools
- I have selected that page as the Frontpage settings
- I have found that the /blog/ link issue is resolved if I also select that page as the “blog display” page. However, the pagination doesn’t work correctly with it set this way
- With this setting, each pagination page still shows the most recent posts at the top rather than moving to the next group.
- Instead they are added to the end of the list
So, I can solve the /blog link issue by selecting the blog page in the “blog display” setting as well as the Frontpage setting. But, that makes the pagination break. It seems I have to pick one or the other.
Thanks for taking a look.
August 25, 2015 at 1:18 am #492567Ugh. This turned out to be my fault. To override the title text, a previous hack had me add some lines of code to the single.php file for the main blog. After cloning this page into my child themes and removing the line causing the problem, the issue cleared up.
