Main Nav after header / slider before Nav

Hello,

Is there a possibility to change the navigation position to after the “header”? I would need to have a Layer Slider / or other Sliders / elements, above the main nav. So the main nav would be best, directly on top of the main content, but full width as the header.
I tried in my child theme, but it did not quite work to just change the position of the Navigation (main Nav) to display it right before the <div class=”container”>. Is there an easy way?
