Tagged: main-menu
Hi,
A Facts:
Some pages are selectable via multiple columns, shown in a mega menu via the main menu (in the header).
For clarity, an example: the page “Meeting rooms” on a business centre website, is selectable via several ways:
1) via the Main menu button “Our support” >> MegaMenu >> Column “Rent an office” >> item “Meeting rooms”
2) via the Main menu button “Our support” >> MegaMenu >> Column “Establish a registered office” >> item “Meeting rooms”
3) via the Main menu button “Our sites” >> MegaMenu >> Column “Building A” >> item “Meeting rooms”.
So all 3 selections above lead to the same page “Meeting rooms”.
B Problem:
When the page is loaded, ALL buttons in the Main menu light up (so in our case both buttons “Our support” and “Our sites”.
C Request:
We would like to light up ONLY the 1 button from where the page has been selected, not both buttons where the page is connected to.
Could you help us with this issue, or is there a practicable work-around?
Many thanks in advance!
Can anyone help me with this issue please?
Hi,
Thank you for using Enfold.
I’m sorry but that’s not possible because they are the same page. The only workaround that I can think of is to remove the active menu color of the sub menu items completely.
#top .header_color .main_menu .menu .avia_mega_div ul .current-menu-item > a {
color: #808080;
}
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi Ismael,
Thanks a lot for your reaction.
It’s a pity that it’s not possible, I understand the reason but I guess I was hoping for a miracle ;)
Your work-around is a good suggestion in this case.
Thanks and best regards,
Axel
