Reported this over 30 days ago, Kriesi closed all my posts and requried me to submit a new post so here goes:
My website’s menus are transparent and look awful
My website’s top menu bleeds over onto the logoI just downloaded your latest update, but after reviewing all the comments about problems users are having with it (particularly with layersliders) I am not going to install it right now. I would prefer that you help me fix the 2 issues noted above before I risk updating and messing up more things on my website.
I also followed the directions at http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/menu-overlaps-logo-on-tablets/ for menu overlap with logo to no avail.
Yigit, Basilis and Vinay all know about this problem, and none of them have either tried to or been able to fix it. This is also not a new problem with Enfold, it happened to my site about a year ago and Kriesi support was able to fix it but I can’t find that original issue using the Search, and somehow none my previous posts show up under my user name. Hope I don’t have to go another 30+ days without help. And please don’t tell me it is a “permissions problem with my hosting provider.” This is an Enfold theme problem.
March 4, 2017 at 12:21 am #755410I read some of your posts and honestly to say they did not tried is … no words ..
It looks indeed like a permission problem, even you don’t wanna hear that and I would strongly suggest to fix that with your hosting provider.Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold.css on this server.Cheers.
March 4, 2017 at 1:38 am #755436Unlike any Kriesi support personnel, you actually spell out what the specific permissions problem might be. So, if indeed I have the permisstions to that specific file set so I can access it, you are saying that my menu issues will magically be fixed without any further action on my part?
March 4, 2017 at 2:17 pm #755602Yigit explained in detail what the permission problem might be on Feb 14. and Feb 16., so imo stop bashing the support guys here!
That file should be accessible. It is the dynamic stylesheet of the theme that is being generated when you adjust the options in Enfold theme options. Since it is not accessible, styles are not being applied. That is the cause of the issue.
Reread here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-support-login-not-working/
Honestly you should step back a bit and maybe hire somebody who is capable of maintaining a wordpress installation. And/or talk to your hoster why this file gives a 403 and that they should set the permissions so it is accessable (I guess wrong group).
cheers.
March 5, 2017 at 2:10 am #755777I was able to add some CSS code that a friend suggested and the menu problem is fixed. You can close this ticket.
