Main content and header in equal width

Hi!

I would like to place the over all content in the exactly same wisth as the header logo and the main menu.
My temporary solution is left and right padding in the grid selections, but that’s forcing me to use a template every time i need to create a new page or sections, and it’s easy to forget.
