That’s weird, I replied to this as well.. maybe my posts aren’t working from my phone.
The results were the same with elegant and business. With Grid it’s the two posts in a vertical line. With ALB there’s nothing there except a full-width slider (that doesn’t show in any of the other formats).
I tried with Large pic, and it stacks the picture above the text (rather than to the left where I want it).
I am SO out of ideas!

Hey!
First, you should set the home and blog page in the Theme Options, not in the Settings > Reading panel. Second, if you want to show other content such as the slider in the blog page, set the Blog Layout > Blog Layout to use the advance layout builder. Edit the blog page then insert the Blog Posts element. Configure the options as needed.

IsmaelHi, Thank you for responding Ismael, but this does not help me, as the layout options do not allow for the picture to be larger than a thumbnail and to the side of the excerpt.
I do not need the slider to show on the blog page.
The home page and bog page are already set in the theme options.
The problem remains as it has for this entire thread.

It’s not working because the blog is not using the correct template. It is set in theme options but it was also set in the Settings > Reading panel which overrides the theme options. We configured the theme settings as suggested above and this is the result: http://www.normansrunningwild.com/index.php/blog-2/
