Hi
I would like to customise the mailchimp signup form into a single ’email address’ field, with a simple icon to the right of that field which would be the submit button. The placeholder text should just say ‘Sign up’ in grey without an asterisk at the end, and the text added into the field itself should also be grey.
I have hidden the fields not required in the form settings but now the Submit button has disappeared (which needs to be an icon on the right of the textbox) and I can’t seem to change the placeholder text color or remove the asterisk.
Can you assist please?
Thanks in anticipation
Chris

Many thanks – yes of course. The form is towards the foot of the home page.
Thanks

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look.

April 14, 2017 at 7:05 pm #777978Hi,
I have made some adjustments to your mailchimpg signup form. Now the subscribe button appears next to it. A mockup showing the results you want to achieve would help. If you want to use another word than “Subscribe”, then consider to use a plugin like Poedit or LocoTranslate for it.
Best regards,

Many thanks!
I would like to have a couple of further amends, including the default text color, as per the image if that’s possible please?

April 21, 2017 at 2:06 pm #781197Hi,
I’ve edited your Mailchimp Signup element (Form Styling->Form Color Scheme->Dark transparent
and then added this code inside Quick CSS field:input#avia_0_1 { color: grey; }
Unfortunately you can’t remove the asterisk.
Use a plugin like Loco Translate or Poedit to adjust text string.
Best regards,
