Hello Enfold Support Team,
Sorry, this won’t be a quick, easy one.
I tagged onto another thread yesterday (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-mailchimp-signup-component-caches-entries/#post-648923 but remember you telling us to start our own threads with problems, so that’s what I’m doing.
The mailchimp integration on my website is not working (see below), and I’m offering to provide you admin login credentials to my staging site as well as login credentials to my Mailchimp account so you can try to figure out what’s going on. From other threads, it appears several others are having this issue (and I’m guessing far more).
Here’s a recap of the issue:
“I just tried setting up Mailchimp for the first time today. The first time I entered the subscription info in the box using the widget, it seemed like it was working, but I never received a confirmation email of my subscription, and that email address never showed up in my Mailchimp mailing list. So I tried again and got the message that I was already subscribed. I then turned “capcha notification” off in Mailchimp settings thinking maybe the capcha was causing an issue, but I kept getting the same message.I then created a new API key and loaded that into Enfold, thinking that might reset things. Still the same error. The regular Mailchimp URL to add to my mailing list works fine so this is DEFINITELY an issue with Enfold and not Mailchimp…they are not going to provide any support since their forms work fine.
I really want this to work as the theme integration looks great and is critical. Can you guys take another look at this since multiple users are having this exact same issue?”
My my staging site, I have set up the Mailchimp widget for you guys to play with. It’s on this page:
http://82a.889.myftpupload.com/marin-real-estate-blog/and it’s labeled “Enfold Mailchimp Signup Test” in the top right of the sidebar on the blog.
I have included all the login credentials in the private content. I am hoping a brave soul on your team decides to tackle this and can figure out why this important Enfold function is not working for me and several others.
Thank you!!!!
Rob (for Thomas)June 17, 2016 at 5:05 pm #649891Hey… anyone? I volunteered to help provide resources to solve this bug which is affecting multiple users…. Is one of the support team members going to take this on? I realize it will take some time but I think it’s important. I don’t want to just have passwords and login rights out there indefinitely so would like to know someone is going to take this on. I’m now on page 10 of the support thread….
Thanks
June 20, 2016 at 10:38 am #650713Hi,

VinayJune 20, 2016 at 3:43 pm #650883Noted Vinay, thanks much.
June 28, 2016 at 6:06 pm #654352I offered to provide resources to help you guys fix this on June 16th…. I’m not crazy about having my admin credentials / mailchimp login etc out there indefinitely. Is this in the queue? I assume this is something you want to address since its affecting multiple users.
Thanks!
July 6, 2016 at 4:32 pm #657572Weeks later and no action… I’ve deleted admin account and guess I’ll just use the mailchimp plugin since the Enfold integration is not working for me and other users. Too bad. If you decide you want to work on this and would like to use my staging site to investigate why it’s not working for me and other users please let me know.
Rob
July 14, 2016 at 1:20 am #660622This is unfortunate. Really cool Enfold feature but with this issue it’s not useful.
There must be burning issues and other priorities considering that this topic doesn’t get any attention even though multiple people are asking for help.July 14, 2016 at 1:36 am #660623Agreed. I hate to add another plugin to my site and further slow it down, but looks like I will have to do so.
August 12, 2016 at 4:06 am #671645hey @goldengate415 I just tried to use this feature and am not having luck. What plugin did you use instead?
August 12, 2016 at 4:08 am #671647Hey… I got sidetracked and have not added a Mailchimp plugin yet… I keep hoping Kriesi will fix this issue…..
I think Mailchimp has an official plugin, don’t they? Huge bummer that this has gone on for months without resolution…. :(
August 13, 2016 at 12:59 am #672134Mailchimp plugin was retired according to Mailchimp support.
October 2, 2016 at 5:37 am #694270It has been months since I posted this original question… and even more months since it was posted by others.
Any updates from support or development?
Thanks!
October 4, 2016 at 9:33 am #694937Same issue here… If you know, that it doesn’t work, please delete it from the Content Element list. Otherwise it is just frustrating.
January 2, 2017 at 3:53 pm #728650Really, really nasty: You never realise it doesn’t work, since it gives you no warning whatsoever. Fix this, please!
January 3, 2017 at 8:36 am #728874Something is breaking Mailchimp lists if using Endfold integration.
– Enfold 3.8.4 in use and im seeing this error message. We were not able to find any Newsletter List on your Mailchimp that your visitors can subscribe to. Please create at least one in your Mailchimp back-end and refresh the list data here to use Mailchimp with this theme.
January 3, 2017 at 8:46 am #728876Lists are ok and API-key is working.
– I really would not want to use MailChimp own plugin but have to because some minor bugs are causing temporary problems all the time.Reporting this now for first time, but same problems with showing lists keeps popping up. Used Endold for dev-sites for ages now..
January 3, 2017 at 9:25 am #728882Anyhow.. just debugging what might be wrong. Error messages are way too simple so I just cannot see more what is going wrong.
If you Enfold devs just test this feature more and even try to talk with MailChimp this endless forum messaging will stop. If I calculated correctly your customers have been trying to report issues over 10-100 times and mostly nothing is happening.1) Account + API key is working correctly with Enfold
2) Problems starts when you have multiple list on one account on MailChimp
– If you combine example two list on MailChimp everything seems to work ok as supposed?August 29, 2019 at 3:51 am #1131782I have encountered such a problem.
How can I adjust?August 29, 2019 at 4:02 pm #1131923Hi yohopower,
Please start a separate thread, describe your issue there in more details and give us a link to your website.
Best regards,
