Mailchimp integration is not working. The following message comes up: “Could not connect to Mailchimp with this API Key. Please try again with a different key You might also want to check your internet connection and make sure that mailchimp.com is available”.

December 31, 2015 at 2:40 pm #558711Hi there, I’m experiencing the same problem right now: while inserting the API key into the WordPress Enfold theme, it says: “Could not connect to Mailchimp with this API Key. Please try again with a different key”
Is this an Enfold problem right now or do I do something wrong?
December 31, 2015 at 5:05 pm #558726I think it’s Enfold. I’m waiting to hear back as well. So far no luck.

January 5, 2016 at 5:53 am #559738i think this is really tough because it seems you guys are not taking this seriously – it seems we’ve all trouble shot this out to death already, and zero accountability or recognition that it could be something to do with enfold itself.
I added my info for a ticket as well – hope this get’s resolved asap
January 6, 2016 at 8:35 am #560354Hi!
room631 and others please create a separate ticket for your issue. We do not want the issues to get mixed even tho they seem the same type it might be a different reason why it’s happening to you guy.
Kathalushka I tested a working API key on your site and obviously it is not working. I tested the same API key on a latest version of the enfold theme on my system and it works fine. It is not an issue with enfold theme. However the problem on your website is due to a plugin conflict or due to any theme customization.
Suggested Solution:
Backup your files and reinstall a fresh copy of enfold via FTP and it should just work fine.
