Any idea, solution?
Thanks!!!December 8, 2016 at 6:04 am #721806Hey Ganubis,
The preview looks fine to me, could you post a link to where it’s not working please?

RikardDecember 8, 2016 at 1:28 pm #721929Hi andy, yes the preview form is ok, the chekbox is ok in the preview form, but the problem is the check box dont appears in blog content or sidebar.
In the blog the forms appears without the checkbox, in the form of the sidebar, and in the form below the content of the entry.thank you

December 12, 2016 at 7:03 am #722961Hey!
I’m sorry but the element supports basic form fields, text and dropdowns. The checkbox field is not included. You can find this note in the element.
This element currently only supports basic list subscription with basic form fields (text and dropdowns). Please let us know if you would like to see more advanced features.

IsmaelDecember 12, 2016 at 3:31 pm #723180The check box is mandatory in United States, Europe and more countries, by the laws of Spam. Do you mean that enfold does not support check boxes in mailchimp blog widgets? Or in the mailchimp forms? oO
December 14, 2016 at 1:13 pm #724242Hi!
Basically no, since „checkboxes“ are not part of the basic list elements that a user can fill in in Settings->List fields and *|MERGE|* tags in the mailchimp backend they dont work. Checkboxes only work as part of “mailchimp groups” which are currently not supported in Enfold (because of their higher complexity from a programming view) If you want or need to use them: there are full fleged mailchump plugins that support this, but I am afraid we are not there with enfold yet.
However, I am not sure which laws you are talking about, the only one that I am familiar with is the double opt in process (subscriber gets a verification mail after he subscribed, so he can verify that he really wants to receive the newsletter). This does not require a checkbox in the front end but in the admin area to enable the double opt in, and that option is of course available for enfold.
If you need a checkbox in your front end for specific laws to your industry that I am unfamiliar with I am afraid you would need to use the plugin “mailchimp for wordpress” – its not as easy to use as our implementation, but because of that it also covers more advanced use cases.
Best regards,

Ok finally im use the double opt in process, Everything is solved with double opt in
Thanks for creating Enfold. It is a very good and versatile template. And the best and most generous technical support I’ve ever seen,
Thanks!
