    Hi,
    there is a massive amount of spammails coming through your mailform, although there is a captcha.

    How do i fix this?

    Have you tried using Google’s Recaptcha in Enfold’s Contact Form?

    We do not use reCAPTCHA since it is troubling (Dataprotection law / GDPR).
    Why is there no honeypot solution like with Contactform7?
    This would be much smarter then leaving european customers standing in the rain.

    Hi,

    Thanks for update. There’s nothing like that in the theme by default unfortunately. If you need functionality which is available through a plugin, then please try using that instead.

    Hi TT,

    No, that is not what we meant but since the security feature we have on our forms is limited to using numeric captcha and Google’s reCaptcha, we would like for you to consider using plugins like Contact Form 7 instead that have the honeypot solution that you mention.
