    HI there,

    I have encountered something really strange when editing site – when I add colour section and content within and press update it simply disappears and erases also all content below.
    It simply started today and unfortunately, when I updated my Home page today I lost almost all of its content apart from sections above the colour section.
    I have reinstalled WP, have the latest Enfold theme update and do not really understand what is going on as I have been working on the site for a while and it had not happened before.
    Even if the Colour section remains after update, image or anything else disappears. The colour section disappears anyway after second update.
    I have tried other elements and they are fine. It seems as colour section that ruins it all.

    To be honest I am hopeless as I was almost at the end of my work and now I can start over…

    Can U advise please?

    Hey pavolob!

    Is it only happening on a certain page? If so then try deleting / recreating the page to see if that fixes it.

    It could be that your using some weird code in the page. Double check all of your code for typos and to make sure your tags are closed properly, etc etc.

    HI Elliott,

    yes, it is happening only on Home page. I have deleted and recreated the page, been working fine until 10th update or so and then it cut off the content again.

    I will have to have the code checked then as I am not such an expert…

    Hi Rikard,

    thank you. I created a new subdomain, installed WP and Enfold theme, started creating Home page and when I was hoping it works the problem occurred again.
    I have tried everything except checking the code as I’m not into it.

    As I’m hopeless and the whole project is thus in delay, I’d be happy for any assistance.

    Hi,

    I get a 403 error on the login page, do you have any ip blocking or security plugins active? If so please deactivate them since the moderators are located all over the world.

    Hi,

    Please check for any unclosed markup in the content you have added, I checked the first element and it has unclosed html markup: 

    <strong>Exceptional Products<br>Inspiring Education<strong></strong>

    Correct would be: 

    <strong>Exceptional Products<br>Inspiring Education</strong>
