Hello support team,
A few days ago I’ve created apage with the advanced layout builder.
All went very good and without any kind of problem. This morning I opened that page and made some minor changes.
When I open the content of an Icon Box en try to edit the text, all off the previously made formatting is gone.
For example. The existing text in that Icon Box is containing a first line which is a H1, the next is a Blockquote and the last line is a simple “Read More” containing a link to an internal page. I save it and when I’m viewing it in my browser, there is no problem. However, when I open that Icon Box again to adjust that content, there is no more indication visible of the H1, the blockquote and the Hyperlink. It’s all plain text now. Even when I make no changes an leave everything as it is, all the formatting is lost when i hit the save button.I have tested this also with a regular “Text Block” but with the same result. Even when I logged out or with another user, still the same result.
When I’m using the standard WP way to create a page, there are no problems. For your information, I’m using WP 3.6.1 and to make sure It’s not a version issue, I’ve updated the theme from version 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 just a few minutes ago.
It’s a little bit frustrating and impossible to work this way.
I hope you can help me with this problem.Kind regards,

I’m not getting the same issue when modifying the icon boxes on the site right now. The only thing I can think of is if maybe you aren’t letting the page load fully before clicking on an element to edit. But just trying to edit the page right now all changes are sticking.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked it out, but still having the same problem. It’s not an issue with the time needed to fully loading the page.
I’ve waited for 1 minute, without any results. However, when you said that you didn’t have a problem, I’ve checked something else and I think I found the problem.
The problem is the version of my Internet Browser. I’m using Internet Explorer version 9. I have tested it a few minutes ago with version 8 en 10, without any problems.
Also tested it with Chrome and all works fine. As soon as I open that icon box, I can see the previously made formatting. I can make a change, save it and still have all the other formatting I have made.
When I open the Icon Box with IE 9, I’m getting to see just plain text. And yes, I’m in the “Visual mode” and not the “Text mode” :-)
Just to make sure it’s not a local issue, I’ve tested it on a few other machines where IE9 has been installed. All have the same problem.
Maybe a bug or something?Kind regards.
