Hi
Really trying to push the boundaries of the brilliant Enfold theme and wondered if anyone out there in Enfoldland has any guidance on how I could achieve a slider (preferable fullwidth) that could be navigated by a secondary or main menu by using Custom ID Attributes in the developer section.
An example of what I’m trying to achieve can be seen at http://www.dinnerbyheston.com
All I want to do really is turn the content of a colour section sideways so that it slides left and right and not up or down. Thanks

Not sure if I understand exactly what you’re trying to do but I think it’s the slide effect you are after, right? Did you try the Content Slider element?
Best regards,

Thanks for the response and I appreciate you taking the time as I know you have more important support requests to handle.
Yep, it is the slider effect I’m after and the Content Slider would be fine if I could find a way to control which content element displays.
I want a menu outside of the Content Slider to remain static while the content will move left or right depending on which menu element is clicked.
If I put in a Content Slider I get 2 square left and right arrow boxes for navigation, now imagine that these arrows were a menu, centred above the slider, and that’s what I’m trying to achieve.
You can see on http://www.dinnerbyheston.com that his menu remains static and the slider content moves left and right, and I’ve assumed that this is achieved by Developer ID’s linked from the menu to the content.
Basically it’s the same as a colour section containing a few elements that have ID’s assigned to them to move them up or down.Hope that’s a little clearer and any feedback is appreciated.
Best regards

Ok I think you understand what you mean, it’s possible to do that but it would require some customisations. If you select to show the dot controls you will get the same behaviour, but you will need to customise the dots into a menu which I think is out of scope for theme support unfortunately. We can help you out with pointers though if you want to give it go yourself. Otherwise you might want to consider hiring a freelancer to get it done for you.

Thanks once again for the help and advice.
As long as I haven’t missed anything obvious that the theme can handle.
I’ll convince the client that the usual colour section is the best approach, we know that works well.Best regards
