I noticed that the load blocking time for the entypo-fontello.woff takes about 0.5 second and as much as 1.0 seconds to load or longer on a regular basis. This really hurts my page load times. I think thet the search icon is the primary need for the font entypo-fontello.woff. Here is the URL,
How can I eliminate / reduce the blocking time?

Thank you for the inquiry.
The font file loads in less than 200ms on our end without anything blocking it. Where did you test it? Please check the screenshot below.

IsmaelI normally use GTMetrix to assess page speed. I reran the GTMetrix multiple times and obtained load times for the entypo-fontello.woff ranging from 543.2 ms to 1.24 seconds. Please private for the URL to GTMetrix for the page I was evaluating. Then check the waterfall. I am not seeing 200 ms.

Thank you for the update.
Have you tried checking it on an actual browser’s Network tab? As you can see in the screenshot above, the font loaded in less than 200ms. It was queued 1.47ms after the site start loading and finished after 187ms or at 1.66s. We tested it again today and the whole site is even faster — the font is queued 516ms from start and finished at 719ms. Browser cache is disabled.
It’s possible that the Gtmetrix tool is having difficulty loading the font file from the source or your CDN. Other fonts such as those from Google seems to be loading properly.
