Tagged: header logo
Hi,
I moved the WP installation from https://mydomain.com/subfolder/ to https://mydomain.com/. Everything works fine, except for the logo not showing up in the header. When I scroll down, the logo becomes visible in the sticky header.
When I check the page source code, I see that in the section copied below a link to the logo image file is still showing to the upload directory in the subfolder in which the site was previously located.
<div class='container av-logo-container'><div class='inner-container'><span class='logo'><a href='https://mydomain.com/'><img height="100" width="300" src='https://mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/[....]logo.png' alt='whatever' title='' />
<span class='subtext'><img src='https://mydomain.com/<strong>subfolder</strong>/wp-content/uploads/[...]logo.png' class='alternate' alt='' title='' /></span>
Please let me know how to change this, i.e. how to show the logo in the header. I tried changing the position of the logo in Enfold options, hoping it would rewrite the link, but it does not help.
Many thanks.
Hi gorkas,
I have checked the link you gave and I do see the logo properly and it seems to be working just fine.
The source of the image is from a CDN when I try to inspect the logo.
Best regards,
Nikko
Thanks, it is working now. The link to logo in subfolder still remains so I suspect it only works because this image is still in CDN from previous installation when WP was in subfolder, but – it’s working :-)
Hi gorkas,
We’re glad to hear that :)
As for the link to logo in subfolder, try to re-upload the logo (it make take some time as well since it’s using CDN).
Best regards,
Nikko
