Since today. The thumbnail of the youtube video is not displayed on my site just a black screen. The problem exists for Chrome, Firefox, Edge. Also when the video is clicked it is opened in a new tab.
I have changed the video link still the same result.May 6, 2020 at 12:51 pm #1210317This reply has been marked as private.May 6, 2020 at 1:03 pm #1210325Hi,

Login details belowMay 12, 2020 at 3:43 pm #1212210Hi,
Thank you for the update.
The logo is not displaying because the video is set to lazyload, or only play on user interaction. You have to edit the video and provide a preview or fallback image. Also, please note that users will not be able to play the video directly in the page if they don’t accept the cookies.
Best regards,

I set the video to always load and set a fallback picture. This works. However, I didn’t have to do that before. The thumbnail picture of the youtube video was displayed.
I have a 2nd website which is set up the same way and there I don’t have the issue. The thumbnail of the video is displayed (see address below)
May 18, 2020 at 8:39 am #1213939Hi,
However, I didn’t have to do that before.
This is due to new privacy and cookie option which automatically prevent external services from loading based on the default cookie behavior. If you want to enable external services automatically on page load, you can set Privacy & Cookies > Cookie Handling > Default Cookie Behavior to always accept cookies, then edit the video and set the Advanced > Privacy Settings > Lazy Load videos to the first option. You should also mute the video if you want them to play immediately without user interaction.
Best regards,
