Hello,
I am very new to WP. I got a login/registration button on my main menu which links to the “Login” page. I would like to the button to automatically toggle to “Logout” once the user has signed in. I am trying to figure out a way to do this but I did not find it in the support forms here. Excuse me if I missed any but I have been search for two days in this forum as well as outside.

What you are trying to do sounds like it is out of our support scope however we like to help you achieve what you are doing please share a link to the element in question where we can inspect the element and let you know what best can be done or we can point you to some helpful resources.

I found a way to do it yesterday night through a custom plugin (learned “how to create a plugin” yesterday :) ). Thanks for your quick response. I will come back if i get roadblocks again.

I am trying to fix my “hacked” site now. any pointers on how to avoid this in the future will be great. i dont know if i should start another thread, but i go another question: how do update the layerslider inside the theme? and also how to update enfold in the future?

We are including updated versions of LayerSlider into Enfold updates after testing them. If you would like to be able to update LayerSlider, you are going to need to purchase it separately and use it as a standalone plugin.
