Hi there, I just tried to log in to the back end of my website and this is what’s popping up instead:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/p3pnexwpnas02_data01/03/2067803/html/wp-config.php:1) in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas02_data01/03/2067803/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1223
Any chance you can help me with this?
January 19, 2019 at 6:45 pm #1055939Hey bethiebfit,
Yes we can try to assist, Please include a admin login & FTP access in the Private Content area.
Please explain what happened, were you updating or did you just add some code or a plugin?Best regards,
MikeJanuary 20, 2019 at 6:15 am #1056034Honestly, I haven’t been on my website in a long time. So no plugins, codes, or updates were happening. Originally I was getting a completely blank white screen, so I contacted go daddy and they tried a few things, not sure what, but they got the error message to show up and then said I would need to contact wordpress for help.
January 20, 2019 at 4:21 pm #1056174Hi,
Thanks for the update, but we really need access to the files to solve this, your WordPress site is down.
Please include FTP access or your Godaddy cPanel access in the Private Content area so we can figure this out.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 20, 2019 at 11:40 pm #1056354Sorry about that. I didn’t realize what you were asking for. I had to look up how to even find that information but I think I found it on GoDaddy…. let me know if this is not correct. Thanks
January 21, 2019 at 12:54 am #1056368Hi,
Thank you, I was able to login, I found that your wp-config had malicious code added to it, I found that this same code has been used many timesI removed the code but your site is still down, I don’t see anything else I can do to help, because there is no telling what it has done to your site.
I recommend asking Godaddy if they have a backup of your site that they can upload, otherwise you will need to delete it and start over. Sorry for the bad news.
Best regards,
MikeJanuary 21, 2019 at 1:24 am #1056373How does that even happen? If I could see the front end of my website and everything looked fine just a few days ago.
January 21, 2019 at 6:42 am #1056447Hi,
I’m guessing your site was hacked in some way, how that was done would be difficult to say though. Maybe you could get it cleaned if you can’t restore it? I would recommend Sucuri if you want to get it cleaned.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 6, 2019 at 11:19 pm #1063776So I’ve spoken to GoDaddy a number of time. They told me I needed malware to clean out the virus. So I guess they did that, so I was able to get into the backend of my website. But now the front end just shows a message: stylesheet is missing. I was wondering if you guys could help with that? Or at least tell me what that means? Thanks
February 7, 2019 at 5:46 am #1063824Hi,
Typically that means that you need to include the style.css file in your enfold directory.
I took a look at your site, but didn’t see this error, and I couldn’t login or FTP in to confirm.Best regards,
MikeDecember 9, 2019 at 9:49 pm #1164198Hello Mike, I have same problem I think:
on website: varsovialab.pl everything works fine but when you go to http://www.varsovialab.pl website doesn’t work:Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/spinweb/ftp/index.php:1) in /home/spinweb/ftp/varsovialab/vl/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1223

December 10, 2019 at 5:30 am #1164315Hi firma1AM,
What happens if you select to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options? Also please check so that you have debugging turned off in your WordPress installation: https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
Best regards,
RikardDecember 10, 2019 at 12:12 pm #1164374Hey,
nothing happens when I selected to use the Classic Editor,
I really don’t know how to check if I have debugging turned off, I am not a programmist. I don’t want to broke anything. I chose this theme because it’s really simple and easy to use. I have never seen this kind of problems installing enfold theme. Could you help me in this case please?
December 10, 2019 at 1:35 pm #1164388Hi,
@firma1am Could you please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum – https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold/#new-post and attach FTP and WP admin logins in private content field so we can look into it?
If you post them here, they will be visible to creator of this thread as well.Cheers!
YigitDecember 10, 2019 at 4:08 pm #1164473Ok, I’ll do it, thanks
