Hi. I’ve just created my onepage homepage with enfold and I love it.

But for some reason it is SOOOOO slow. It loads for like 10-20s. I cant see why?
Is there a way to see what is loading.

The page is http://www.fysioetana.se and I’ve used a instagram plugin and a few slides but nothing fancy.

    Please help.

I just noticed that on safari it takes even minutes to load.

    Hey!

It did loaded around 3-4s on my end. Could it be your internet connection? :) Please try loading Enfold demo site – http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/

Also, i noticed that you are not using the latest version of Enfold. Enfold 3.4.4 (labeled as 3.4.3) is available on ThemeForest – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Cheers!

    Hi Yigit!

Thank you for your quick reply. And I am really happy that its quicker on your computer.

I am running on a fast broadband line and it is the same with 4G on the phone. Your Enfold-demo is momentanus. So I dont think its my internet connection.

I can of cause up-date, but will that really speed it up?

LIke I asked before, is there a way to see what is causing the delay?

    Hi!

You can try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps. Then you can activate them one by one to find the culprit.
It does load slow on Safari on my end as well.

    Hi!

The plugins didn’t change anything. Is there a way to “hide” or temporarily remove an element/section? So I can do the same with all elements.

    Hi!

You can refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/hide-menu-itemselements-on-mobile/ but since it would hide via CSS, elements would still load on DOM

    Hi

    I will try that.

Do you have any other idea what can cause the loadingtime?

    Hi Martin,

I checked your site with the following tool: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/ and it loaded in 3 seconds which is a good result I would say so your problem might be local. Try to testing in another browser/machine or flush your browser cache and reload a few times to see if that helps.

    Thanks,
    Rikard
