    Good evening,

    very often when i visit my homepage and check the galleries, the end of the gallery looks like this:

    http://www.hochzeitsfotograf-bjoernkuhle.de/allerlei/problem_12.jpg

    Then i have to reload it and maybe it works after the reload. What is the problem and how i can fix it???? The problem is the same if i will show all 100 pictures at once or when i say “show 50 with the button load more”….

    Hi!

    are you using any caching (plugin)? or is your host using some kind of caching on your server?
    Try to clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times.

    If i refresh the site it works … but if i watch the site again after one or two days… the same problem appears. And if this happens at my pc … then maybe it happens at others pcs and visitors too…. :/

    Hi,

    Unfortunately we can’t do much about what browser settings you or any other user have on their local computers, but please try to clear all cache on the site and on your local computer as well and it should go back to normal.

    I have looked at your site and I could replicate the issue. The reason is that your images are huuuuuge (around 1MB – 1,5MB each photo!!). The galleries are not loading thumbnails but full size images that are resized so the browser has a lot to download. If you are scrolling down the browser does it’s best to download all the big image sizes and at the end of the site there is no power left to load all images this is why you see fractions only. If you reload the site the browser can download the rest and you will see all images. The only solution I can see is to put less images in a gallery or make the images smaller.

    For example your gallery http://hochzeitsfotograf-bjoernkuhle.de/hochzeit-von-patricia-manuel/ is almost 52MB (!) big. The browser has to load way too many photos

    and the loading time is extreme for visitors. Then it is no wonder if images cannot load in full at the end.

    @CiniZ    , could you check your image sizes to see if you can make them a bit smaller maybe? 1MB is a lot for an image and if bluecafe is correct about an image being 52MB it’s no wonder you are having problems.
