    Hey guys,

    Just wanting to place some links in our rotating header banners on the layer slider. It’s easy enough to place the links in, but how to change from an underline link to a ‘change in box / font colour’ link? We prefer a font or box to change colour, rather than a underline.

    I tried the styling section but to no avail, maybe we did it wrong…I’m sure it’s simple enough, but we can’t get it right today.

    Hi Marssolutions,

    You can add in a shortcode for a button at a layer. Just add the shortcode data directly into the Div/video field. Eg:

    [av_button label='Click me' link='manually,http://google.com' link_target='' color='theme-color' custom_bg='#444444' custom_font='#ffffff' size='small' position='center' icon_select='no' icon='25']

    Hey Devin,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve tried it and a what I got was the contents of the short code across the top of the preview. There was no button.

    Did we do it wrong?

    make sure you add it into the Div/Video field and *not* the regular text field.

    Yes, did that. Still the same… Is there another setting we’ve missed? BTW, when pasted into Div/Vid (basic tab) and then I move to span, paragraph etc, the short-code is in all of them. Not sure if that matters?
