Dear Kriesi-Team,
rarely i need your services since your forum always provides me with the right solutions. Now i got in trouble with anchor links.
My Menu is mainly made out of anchors who directing to website/page/#anchor, the anchors working fine if i stay on one page. If i change to another page/#anchor via the menu the magic starts :)
Pageload is fine but the position of the site is not where the anchor was set. when i scroll a tiny bit the page will jump to the right anchor position (Safari). In Firefox it won’t do the last step (just wrong position). Strangely some anchors are working properly. Is there maybe some delay issue f.e. anchor jumps before page is fully loaded?
Or maybe some content just loads afterwards and pushes the anchor position down?I could really need some help here since i was using those links before and never had any issue.
Thanks for your support.
June 1, 2021 at 7:11 am #1303342Hey EFESQU,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Is it working correctly when you remove the layer slider? It is possible that the layer slider is still loading and its final height is not yet calculated when the jump or scroll to the anchor happens, which results to incorrect positioning.
Enabling the Page Preloading option in the Enfold > Theme Options might help in this case.
Best regards,

LaureJune 14, 2021 at 6:28 am #1305516Hi Laure,
It seems to be working as expected on my end when using Chrome, in which browser are you seeing this problem? Also please post a screenshot highlighting the problem you are seeing.

I’ve tried on Edge it’s working fine too. It’s on Firefox that I see the problem.Hope those images will help.
Thank you
LaureJune 16, 2021 at 3:37 am #1305909Hi,
Thanks for that. I see the same thing on my end on Firefox, but it does eventually scroll to the correct position. My guess is that it doesn’t scroll to the correct position, because some content above the section has not finished loading yes, like a large image for example. You could try to optimise the size of your images above the section in question, to see if that helps.

RikardJune 28, 2021 at 1:07 pm #1307731Hey Ismael,
the preloader wasn’t on but I switched it on and the page get stucked during the preloading ( site hasn’t finished loading, some error with this maybe?).
I removed all layersliders from the page, the problem still persists in both browsers (Firefox + Chrome). Please have a look again, maybe I miss out on something.Best,
Stephan
June 29, 2021 at 8:38 am #1307879Hi,
@EFESQU: Updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.3) should help. If not, try to revert jQuery to an older version by using the following plugin.
