Good Afternoon,
I have added an OG protocol plugin and I see all required tags and am still not having luck getting the link to display properly on LinkedIn. Facebook works just fine. I also have Yoast SEO and have disabled all OG meta data so there was no conflict..
“Cannot display preview. You can post as is, or try another link.”
I have looked through the forums but cannot find a solution.
Thoughts?

I’m not understanding the issue. Are you saying that your site is not displaying on the LinkedIn side of things?
Best regards,

That’s correct. If you try to post a link to our website on LinkedIn it does not give you a preview with the link. It remains text. Troubleshooting in LinkedIn led me to my website having OG protocol issues.

September 11, 2018 at 8:15 pm #1008578Hi,
Have you presented the issue to the plugin devs?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonSeptember 11, 2018 at 8:24 pm #1008583The plugin was in hopes to fix whatever was stopping enfold in the first place. And since that didn’t help I am back to square 1.
September 12, 2018 at 10:24 am #1008822Hi,
Did you try to inspect your website with the linkedin inspector: https://www.linkedin.com/post-inspector/ – do you get any errors?
Best regards,
PeterSeptember 12, 2018 at 4:31 pm #1009006Hey Dude! Here is what I get…
“Error We encountered a server error while trying to inspect the URL.”
Something is blocking?
September 12, 2018 at 5:36 pm #1009025Hey!
Please deactivate all plugins (except the og meta plugin) and check your website again. If this doesn’t help please talk to the server administrator / host and ask if Linkedin is blocked on your server. I tried my website (which also runs Enfold and Yoast SEO) and the inspector could read all og meta values (see link in private data).Cheers!
