Hello,
Everytime I try to create a simple link to my youtube page (http://www.youtube.com/user/NYUHumanities), the theme treats the link like a media element and tries to open a pop-up video viewer, then displays an error. In this case, I need to have a button image link to the youtube page.
See the youtube button just above the footer here: http://humanitiesinitiative.org/
What can I do to override this behavior and create a simple link to open my youtube page?
Thanks,
Chris
Hi calexander,
We encountered similar problems, but there is a solution found here: (About half way down the page)
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/link-en-shortcodes-problems
The topic is for another theme but it seemed to do the trick.
You need to add a ‘class’ to your URL for it to work normally. Example:
‘a class=”noLightbox”‘
Hope that helps,
Hi,
Use http://tinyurl.com/ or http://goo.gl/ to shorten or hide the url. Place that as the link url. You can also do the tip above by our kind designprime, using class=”nolightbox”.
