I’m trying to link a menu item to content that exists on the ‘#next’ page within a Content Slider. There are only two ‘slides’ within the Content Slider, and the URL should be the pagename/#next, but that isn’t working.
Thanks

You can enter a hash tag followed by a number to link a layer to another slide. For example #3 will switch to the third slide when someone clicks on this layer. This video explains – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOTh1RASTa8Best regards,

Unfortunately, it’s not a Layer Slide – It’s the Content Slider. How do I create a link in a menu item that will go to the ‘Next’ page of a Content Slider? The URL for a second page in a content slider is: …pageaddress/#next, but simply adding ‘/#next’ doesn’t work and only opens the beginning of the content slider. I would like to use an anchor link to go directly to content that is in the Content Slider, but only visible when using the scroll to next button.
Same type of idea as in the Layer Slide, but in this case there isn’t a slide number reference, but a URL that shows /#next when navigating through the Content Slider. If my Content Slider only has two slides, I should be able to link directly to the 2nd slide by copying the URL which ends in /#next — but no luck.
Thanks

I’m trying to set a link to content within a Content Slider. The URL I’m trying to link to in the Content Slider ends in: /#next — but that anchor link only opens the beginning of the slider. Is there a way to do this? I’ve searched the Enfold forums dating back quite some time and see that this has been asked more than once but never answered or resolved. It’s not the Layer Slider — it’s linking to content posted within the Content Slider, but not on (slide/page 1), but accessible only if you use the arrow to advance the slider.
June 23, 2017 at 7:42 pm #812279Hi davidgogel,
I think the answer is that there is no easy way to do it. You need to write JavaScript that would target the content slider to slide to whatever you need to show. Either way, this kind of customization is out of the scope of our support, but you might consider hiring a freelancer if you really want to do it.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
