Hi,
I’m trying to create a link from an ALB product page to an anchor point on my static front page.I tried this link:
https://paintedjournals.com/#productgridIt took me to the page, but not the specific product grid element I wanted. I also tried it without”grid”
Any suggestions on how to write the link?
Thank You,

There is no element on that page with the productgrid id, which element are you looking to navigate to?
Best regards,

Ummm… There’s definitely an element in the admin of the page called product grid. The container for the woocommerce store.
If you want you can look at the admin for that page:
Pages/home….And let me know why it might not be showing. Credentials in private window.

Thanks for that, though the login details are not working. Could you check and verify please?

StephanJanuary 19, 2018 at 4:26 am #899454Hi,
I believe I understand the confusion, you are trying to create a anchor link to a element called “product grid” and you see a “product grid” when editing the page:
So you tried: https://paintedjournals.com/#productgrid
Sorry this will not work, to create a anchor link you need to enter a ID in the element in the ID field:
and unfortunately the product grid doesn’t have a ID field.
To solve we can create a anchor on the page using a code block like this:<div id="productgrid"></div>
we will place this above your element.
Now your link will work correctly, please review the changes we made to your site and test the link.Best regards,

That worked, thank you very much! You can mark this solved.
I looked at the page code to see what you did, which I did by looking at your revision. But I don’t even know where I would find a code editable version of my page.? Not that I ever intend to do this, I don’t know how, but it’s kind of nice to know that I could. Where does one find that?
Thanks, Stephan
January 21, 2018 at 4:03 pm #900374Hi,
I think I understand your question, but let me start with that what I did was to add a code block element to your page with some code in it:
You can see the code of the page by Enable Avia Layout Builder Debug which will show this at the very bottom of the page:
This would be useful to copy a whole page to another or to a new site, but we don’t recommend editing this directly as it is touchy.
Is that your question?Best regards,
MikeFebruary 11, 2018 at 3:17 am #910704Ok, I had to look at that I few times, but now I understand what you did. Thank you!
