    Hey guys,
    I want to link the button of a promo box to a self hosted video. This video should open in a lightbox.
    Is that even possible?

    Hi edfaber!

    Yes, you would just set the link of your promo box manually and link to your video. Our scripts should pick it up automatically and set it to open in the magnific popup.

    Here is an example with vimeo.

    Hi Elliott,

    Thanks for the reply. I needed this for a self hosted video but it turned out that your solution does not work. I figured it out by myself.
    If you append “?iframe=true” to the link it opens in a lightbox.

    But now I have the problem that the video in the lightbox opens on top of the page not in the middle like with pictures.

    Hey!

    Hmm, not sure what you mean here. Magnific will always open in the middle of your screen which is what is happening on my end when viewing your link.

    Take a screenshot and highlight what your seeing so we can get a better idea. Also let us know what browser and device your using.
