Great theme and support, kudos to you guys!!!
I used the Avia page builder to build a page and included a tab component with several tabs. I have two questions related this:
1- Is it possible to link some of the tab headings/titles to an external page when clicked? I tried adding the href to the tab title but it doesn’t work.
2- Also, can I remove the functionality of a particular tab heading/title so that nothing happens when a person clicks on that tab? (essentially it’s just a static title)Thank you in advance for any help on this!!!

No, that’s not possible out of the box, what are you trying to do? can you provide some context o examples?
Cheers!

Essentially, I want to have a submenu inside of a tab. Since the theme doesn’t let you put a tab inside of another tab, I thought that maybe I could link one tab to a whole new page that contains the submenu built with tabs.
Here’s a link to a test page: Under the “Associates” tab, see I manually added the submenu of all the members where each should display a photo and a bio, but this is where I got stuck.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)July 25, 2015 at 2:02 am #478505And for the second question, take a look at this page:

Basically I have many pages like this one where I would like the <u>first</u> tab to be the title of the page, that people cannot click, and then tab 2 and 3 have content. Thanks again!
July 25, 2015 at 4:32 am #478529Putting a Tab element inside a Tab content is possible, not GUI-wise but with shortcodes, try the following:
– Enable this
– Create a new, separate Page and start building the inner Tab, you’ll note a box below ALB with some shortcodes being generated, when you’re done simply copy that into the Tab content in the other Page.Cheers!
JosueJuly 25, 2015 at 7:00 pm #478677Thanks Josue but I actually had tried that already and it didn’t work. Just to make sure, I tried it a few more times but with no success, please see below…
– Here’s the separate Page with the inner Tab:
http://martinbook.com/artboxc/associates2/
– And here’s the result of adding the above generated shortcodes into the Associates Tab:
http://martinbook.com/artboxc/company/
There are 3 issues:
1- All the members appear before clicking on the Associates Tab
2- The member titles appear next to Associates instead of the next row
3- All the tabs display this at the bottom: [/av_tab] [/av_tab_container]
Do you think the code can be tweaked to work? I just added login info in case you can check.
THANKS!!!July 29, 2015 at 7:29 am #480048Hey!
A tab element inside another tab is not working but an accordion inside a tab content is. We created a test page here: http://martinbook.com/artboxc/test/
Please
Cheers!
