Hello,
I have created a “link” post on my blog, but the link is not recognized by the Magazine component.
Is it normal or have I missed something ?
thanks

Please send us a temporary admin login so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also include which post you are having this problem on.

RikardMarch 7, 2016 at 4:48 pm #594422Hi Rikard,
I have sent you an admin id and pwd in the private content.
Here are the links to the site :
Homepage : You will find the “link post” at the bottom, in a “blog posts” section : the post links to the external content, which is ok.
http://www.berangere-test.fr/Other page : The same post is displayed via a “magazine” component : it links to the post itself.
http://www.berangere-test.fr/risques-psychosociaux/FYI : I am using a child theme, I have tried switching to the parent theme and it it the same.
Thanks

you are using a caching Plugin, so go into plugin’s settings and choose to switch off caching. Deactivate this and all other plugins. Afterwards clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times. Let us know if this changes anything for you.
Best regards,
AndyMarch 15, 2016 at 10:30 am #598287Hi Andy,
I had already tried with cache / without cache.
I have tried again : deactivated caching, cleared browser cache, hard refreshed, no change. Same with another browser.
Cheers,

March 15, 2016 at 1:11 pm #598348Hi!
did you deactivated all plugins already?
Are we allowed to deactivate all plugins for testing purposes?
Maybe there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/
Let us know when you are done with it.Regards,
AndyMarch 15, 2016 at 1:41 pm #598362Hi,
Yes I have already tried with :
– all plugins deactivated
– parent theme instead of child theme. You are definitely allowed to do some changes on the site, it is not yet operational and I have backups. Just keep me informed about what you do.
Before reinstalling the theme, I have done some tests on another Enfold site that I am running, and it does not work either.
So I am wondering, are you sure that post links in Magazine block are well supported by the theme ? I have searched further in the forum and found those 2 tickets :

March 15, 2016 at 9:51 pm #598627Hey!
yes, seems that you are right. Try this solution: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-magazine-post-with-link-format-does-run/#post-435156
Hopefully it will work for you.

AndyMarch 16, 2016 at 6:42 pm #599100Hi Andy,
It works, but I’m not very happy with that solution because it changes the shortcode file, so in case you provide a new release my customer will not get it. I think I will advise my customer to use another component than Magazine.
I will open a feature request because it is the second issue I found with link posts on the theme.
Thanks for the support anyway,
BérangèreMarch 16, 2016 at 7:13 pm #599132Hey!
alright, thank you. Let us know in a new ticket if you have some more questions related to the theme. We are happy to assist you.
Best regards,
