Hi there,
We have an image gallery on our homepage is it possible to add a link behind each image?
September 27, 2018 at 6:40 pm #1015439Hey SoWeAre,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

You can edit the Masonry Gallery then click on Add/Edit Gallery and select each image, you should see the custom link field as seen on this screenshot:
https://imgur.com/a/YwbIW6e (it’s marked in red)
Hope this helps.Best regards,

Just one more question. The video in the slider works perfect on desktop, however on mobile it isn’t showing.
How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.
October 10, 2018 at 12:28 pm #1019915Hi SoWeAre,
The video will not show in this case, you need to set the fallback image that will be shown on mobile.
If you need further assistance please let us know.

A lot of browsers changed their media and media autoplay policies and so they work differently now.
If you need further assistance please let us know.

Can you try to mute the video you have and try to check it on mobile?
Since muted videos are allowed on later versions: https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2016/07/autoplay
You can also read the autoplay policy here: https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2017/09/autoplay-policy-changes
Also, the questions you are posting aren’t related anymore to original title/subject, please create a separate thread per topic.Best regards,

I have checked the link you gave for the video, however it only returns a 404 page not found, can you give us a link?
Also you have mentioned “The old version of the website still shows the video“, can you give us a link to it also?
maybe we can check and try to compare them.Best regards,

Thanks for giving us admin access.
What slider are you trying to use? there are 2 sliders in your homepage but none have video in them.
Can you create another page? where we can try to check and probably modify the slider with video.Best regards,

I have checked it and I didn’t get better results.
The only workaround for it is to use a fallback image for mobile since most modern browsers have changed their policies regarding videos on mobile devices.Best regards,

I apologize for the late response.
I noticed that you are using an outdated version of Enfold (4.3.1), please try to update it to the latest version and make sure to do a backup on it first.Best regards,
NikkoNovember 5, 2018 at 9:56 pm #1030063Hi,
Can i do this without any problem? So styling and settings will stay the same?
November 6, 2018 at 8:15 am #1030263Hi SoWeAre,
You can create a staging site, basically it’s just a duplicate on your site where it has the same environment as your live site, this way you can test first if the updates are safe or not and make changes with it without affecting the live site. Here is a post showing how to setup a stage site: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/

NikkoNovember 12, 2018 at 2:28 pm #1032601Hi,
It’s up to date now but still the videos aren’t shown, if i use the implementation of vimeo it self they are shown.
So there is still something not working correctly I guess.November 13, 2018 at 3:53 pm #1033041Hi Stefan,
It seems like videos in slides of the slider doesn’t work properly, that’s why mobile fallback image is needed.
I could only suggest a workaround which is hiding the slider in mobile and create a text block with a youtube embed code, hide it on desktop and show in mobile.
Modifying this on the slider would take a lot of time to do, so I am afraid it’s out of the scope of our support.
But please feel free to request such feature at our feature request system: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
This system allows us to keep track of user suggestions and lets you vote on the feature you would like to see the most. I am afraid though there is no guarantee that a feature will get implemented.Best regards,
