    I have set the font color for links to #597b7d

    but it is not working.

    Hey Charlotte,
    Did you set it in the Enfold Theme Options? Do you have a caching plugin that you need to clear?
    Otherwise you could try this code the General Styling > Quick CSS field:

    .main_color a {color: #597b7d !important; }
