Hi there,
I created a blog page to use this instead of standard WordPress so I try to use the advance layout editor of Enfold. In my footer I have a widget to show the posts. However, when using the link of these posts the standard (?) blog page opens instead of my own blog page. What is going on?
best regards,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

Thanks for the login details, I’m not sure I understand what you mean by your initial question though. The links you have in your footer links to individual posts and not the blog feed page, those links won’t change weather you use the the layout builder to create either the blog page or the individual blog posts. If I’ve misunderstood you then please try to explain a bit further.

OK, clear, every link to a post opens the individual blog posts. Then I have 2 questions:
1) When I create a separate blog page I would expect to see to be able several blog posts together in a grid (in my case 3). I get only a kind of links of 3 posts in a grid, but I do not see the text and pictures of the posts on the blog page. I have to open these posts separately to see text and picture. What do I wrong? I put the blogpage now in the menu, to be able to have a quick look.
2) When I open a post via the link in the footer an individual post is opened. How can I change the layout of these pages. So not per post, but for all the posts together? If I change the layout of the page of the individual post it changes only that specific post.
Hopefully my questions are clear.

Forget the 2nd question :-). of course when creatinga post it is possible to use a template.September 2, 2017 at 12:11 pm #847150Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. When using the layout builder for posts then you will have to add all content to them manually, that includes the excerpt and featured image. You can set that manually by selecting to show the excerpts field under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen. Though the easiest option for you to get the default behaviour would be to simply save the post while the default editor is active. Could you try that out please?

You opened a new world for me :-). I did not use Screen Options yet, that is the solution. Thanks a lot!

No problem, most users miss that option unfortunately. But as it’s part of WordPress core it’s not something we have any design control over. Anyway, glad we could help you out. Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic or if we can close it.
Best regards,
