I have noticed this issue for quite some time now and could never find a solution, so for the past year I decided not to use diagonal borders. Now I’d really like to use them, but it seems none of the theme updates have fixed the annoying hairline gap or border that appears in Chrome browser for Android. Since this is the most popular browser I’m really confused as to why this hasn’t been resolved?

Here is a link to screenshots of multiple Enfold Demo Sites that are still displaying these lines under diagonal borders: Enfold Screenshots from Chrome on Android

I absolutely love the Enfold Theme and normally can find a solution to anything via the forums but I’ve had no success on this issue.
Oh and FYI I decided to test out adding -1px margin to color sections which will actually remove the line, but then the diagonal borders look funny since they are overlapped by the next section at the corner.

    Hey kalencolt,

Which pages is it happening on?

    Best regards,

The pages I included in my original post are screenshots from various Enfold Demos using the diagonal border. When opened in Chrome Browser on Android there was a hairline gap b/w each color section that used a diagonal border. This has been the case for quite some time.
Although, after some further testing I’ve discovered that the “Screen Zoom” and “Font Size” settings on Android phones are affecting the way websites appear. For example, if I change my “Font Size” on my phone from it’s lowest setting to a slightly larger one, the hairline gap between color sections in Chrome disappears. The same goes for when I adjust my “Screen Zoom” from Small to Medium.
As stated in the original post, this seems to only occur in Chrome Browser for Android so I’m not going to worry about it anymore because, obviously, I can’t control the settings people use on their phones and I’m guessing it is an issue with how Chrome is trying to react to the phone settings……not necessarily an issue with the Enfold theme.
    Thanks anyways!

    Hi,

Thanks for the info. That is quite helpful. Unfortunately, we can’t address issues that are related to the phone settings. We’ll close the thread now.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
