Hi
I got a problem with lightboxes that I am trying to use inside a table created using wpDataTables plugin.
After I have found how to construct very specific lightbox that is represented by one image and includes other images inside except for this one image that opens it, I pasted the code into the table. But it didn’t work as I wanted – after clicking the image, attachment page was being open. I have contacted wpDataTables support. I was advised to use WP Lightbox 2 plugin but the plugin didn’t work. In my case it even caused that some website content was invisible. I shared login credentials to wpDataTables support team member. He admitted that the solution he proposed (that should normally work) isn’t working on my site. He said It “looks like it’s rendering the address as a lightbox inside the table, instead of opening the lightbox when I click on the image.” He advised to ask if you can offer a workaround, help. The lightbox does not work inside the table even in a very basic form: lightbox opening after clicking an image.
The effect I wanted to achieve is visible in top left corner of the test page.
Currently the image in the table was inserted as Enfold gallery shortcode. It links to an attachment page (but it shouldn’t) instead of opening lightbox.June 5, 2019 at 1:02 pm #1107524Hey Autostopowicz,
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,

I am glad that you got it working for you with the previous issue. But that issue and this issue are still out of the scope of the support that we provide here.
I am afraid you’ll need to contact the plugin author for more info about the issue. Making third-party plugins compatible with the theme or adding functionality to them is unfortunately beyond the support scope we offer. Sorry for that!
Best regards,
