February 27, 2018 at 9:59 am #918304Hey Gunnar,
Thanks for contacting us. It’s really up to you how you want to handle it, maybe you could ask the client if they want access to the theme? If they are going to maintain the site then that might be a good idea. You can buy the theme here if you like: themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990

https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular – here stay: “4.You can create one End Product for a client, and you can transfer that single End Product to your client for any fee. This license is then transferred to your client.”
What can i do now?

February 27, 2018 at 4:27 pm #918526Hi,
Thanks for contacting us!
You can either purchase a regular license using your ThemeForest account, give your client the purchase code (which is necessary to register to our support forum) so they can contact us if they have any theme related questions or issues. You can also generate an API key in your ThemeForest account and give your ThemeForest username and API key to your client, so they can insert it in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates. This is the way most agencies/freelancers are working with our themes. But in that case, theme files will be only accessible through your account. It might be possible to transfer licenses between accounts, however since purchase and download processes are managed by Envato/ThemeForest, it would be better if you contacted them to confirm.
Otherwise, your client can register on ThemeForest and purchase theme, provide you a copy and you can create the website for them.
If you have any other questions, please let us know :)
