JosueNovember 9, 2014 at 11:49 pm #348535Hi!
Did you create your current forum account with the license key from this client? If thats the case I can remove the license key from our database so its possible for her to register a new account here if needed.
As for theme updates: directly downloading updates from themeforest will only work with the account used to purchase the theme and there is nothing I can do about that. Thats something only envato could change if they wanted. However you can set up her backend at enfold->updates with account name and API key so she can update the theme from the backend. Hope this is sufficient :)
Cheers!
KriesiNovember 10, 2014 at 6:21 pm #348906Hi Kriesi,
No I also have a Replete licence from over a year ago so the forum account would have been set up using that. So I don’t want to lose this account plus I’ll be buying an Enfold licence at some stage so for a new project.
Yes Envato already said they can’t do anything but suggested that you might be able to organise something so that the client or new developer can process theme updates properly. So what do I need to do now?

November 11, 2014 at 12:41 am #349136Probably the best way would be to post me the clients license key and an email so I can register an account in the forum. (please mark the post as private ;) )
I guess even though you did no use the license key to create this account the theme was indeed purchased with it? If thats the case all you need to do is to add your username and API key at enfold->updates in the theme backend so the client is able to update to the latest theme files from their theme backend :)

I’ll ask Kriesi to check this thread again. Maybe he missed it because he’s very busy right now.
Cheers!
IsmaelNovember 24, 2014 at 4:59 pm #356943Hi!
There is actually nothing for you to do anymore. Once the client needs support and asks for the account we will send them the details. If you have entered the API key in their backend then they will also be able to update in the future (this is part of envatos system and its the only way they will be able to do that so I would recommend to add the necessary information if you dont want to deal with them anymore)
Cheers!
