I am currently in the process of setting up an Enfold installation on a subdomain of my primary website. The goal is to showcase the website to the customer in a nearly finished state. In the future, is it possible to obtain a new license for a different domain and transfer it to Enfold without having to reinstall and set up everything again? I am not very familiar with how Enfold’s licensing works, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards from Salzburg,

    Hi Konsti,

If you are using the theme for development purposes, then you don’t need to buy an extra license. You can use it as you see fit while developing, then register it when the site is actually published on the domain where it’s supposed to live.

Hi so the webpage is finished, we bought a license and switched the domain to the official one.
Can you provide information on where to change the license information? As this will be my workflow for future client project :)

    Hi,

The license information is not transferable. It is attached to the account that is used to purchase the theme or whoever holds a valid private token for that particular account. Please check the documentation below for more info about the licenses.

Hi, thank you for your answer.
So I set up a webpage for my university. The URL is in the private content section. I set it up on my main domain for dev and presentation (also a private section). The university bought a license. What do I have to do next so I don’t get into any trouble? :)

    Hi,

Please ask the owners of the license to register it by following the instructions here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Best regards,
    Rikard
