Hi I have bought serval Enfold themes, as many as 7, I though have an issue. I need to update serval of them on different domains. Unfortunately some of them I did download without downloading the “License certificate & purchase code” so what to do? how do I pair my installed version with the downloaded version?

To be honest, is it not a mistake that if I choose to download the “All files & documentation” the “License certificate & purchase code” is not included in that package??

    Best regards

    Hi Carsten,

Which version of the theme are you running on the different sites? If it’s 4.4.1 or below then you need to update them manually. If they are running 4.5 or higher then you can create tokens for each of the installations in order to receive the automatic updates: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Hi there Rikard

some are new with tokens and some I will update using FTP. Updating is not my problem, my problem is to find out how to match the License certificate & purchase code with the installed version (as I mentioned I did forget to download the License certificate & purchase code) with some of my installations.

Example, I have an older version installed on a site, saying (No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.0.2). I know that your new version is 4.5.1 so I would need to update using FTP.
Then I go to my envatomarket, choosing downloads, there I see all my 7 enfold themes which I bought and installed on different domains earlier! My issue is, which one of the bought themes fits the previously installed version on the specific domain that I want to update?
How can I match previously purchased themes, Envato does not show on the front screen the

    Item ID:
    Item Purchase Code:
    Purchase Date:

    Hope you understand :0)

    Hi,

    Thanks for thee update.

It doesn’t really matter which domain the theme is installed. All you need to do is generate a new access token, set the required permission and put that token in the theme options so that you can automatically update the theme in the future. You can find more info about that in the documentation.
