Do we need to remove the GA code from Enfold setting when the Google Tag Manager is implemented (either directly or via a plug-in)?
Also, any known conflicts between Google Analytics by Yoast / inserting Google Analytics code in Enfold settings / Tag Manager implementations?

Seems to be a bit of overlap in using all of these – I’d appreciate any input fro Kreisi team on the cleanest way to implement Google Analytics and the Tag Manager in Enfold.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

Can you post a link to your site so we can inspect the source and check if there is a duplicated tracking code?

Josue, thanks for your quick reply, here is the site: http://www.inredox.com.

At this time I have only the following:
    (1) GA code in the Enfold settings,
    (2) GA ID in the “Google Analytics by Yoast” plug-in

I have not yet implemented the Tracking Code, as I was hoping to get some guidance on the best way of doing this without unnecessary duplication. It would be quite nice to have a place to plugin Tags Manager code into the theme directly in addition to or instead of GA code – this would have taken care of everything, right?

I see, as expected, you have two GA codes duplicated in the source, one from Yoast and one from Enfold. My suggestion would be to remove the Enfold one if you’re planning to use Yoast permanently.
