I want to remove the sidebar and the page title with breadcrumbs from the home page. When I edit the page, I select Sidebar Settings > No Sidebar and Titlebar Settings > Hide Both in the Layout widget. But this has no effect. How do I remove those elements on the home page?

Additionally, the home page is displaying the title of a blog post instead of the home page title. When I click on the title, it goes to the blog post. If I edit the home page it shows the correct home page title. The rest of the content on the home page is correct.

I am using Enfold version 3.3.2 on WordPress 4.3

    Hi dreampunk!

Make sure your not using any static pages in Dashboard > Settings > Reading. Send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a look.

Be sure to deactivate all plugins while testing and clear your browser cache as well.

It looks like the theme is not compatible with the All in One SEO Pack plugin and the WPtouch Pro plugin. These are common plugins that we use on hundreds of sites without any problems and they are critical to this particular site. What can I do to make the theme work with these plugins?

Actually, I just need the site to work with All in One SEO Pack. Since the theme is responsive, I don’t need the WPTouch Pro plugin.

    Hey!

Have you considered the WordPress SEO plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

    Cheers!

We have a standard set of plugins for all of our sites. We aren’t going to use one SEO plugin on hundreds of sites, but a different plugin on this one site. We don’t want to learn and remember all the differences in the new plugin. We just want to keep using the one we are familiar with and is already a part of our workflow.

Is there any way for All in One SEO to work with your theme? Any settings we can change?

    Hi!

we can’t do much about 3rd party plugins, as there are too many of them out there. That’s why you need to ask plugin’s author if you have issues with a plugin. We definitely recommend Yoast’s plugin, as it is fully compatible with our theme.

    Andy
